I understand that adapting to this new normal has been a great challenge for all of us. Since the start of the pandemic, I knew that we were going to have to adapt, and my main concern and priority during our shutdown was focused on creating a plan and protocols that would keep our Cedar Tree Dental community safe once we were able to welcome patients back to our office.
COVID Safety Measures
For our patients who have not yet visited us since our reopening and for those looking for a new dental home I wanted to outline all COVID safety measures we have put in place at our practice:
-
Enhanced pre-screening to ensure those visiting our office have minimal to no risk factors for Covid-19.
-
One-way traffic throughout our office.
-
Removed all magazines and toys from the reception area.
-
Added social distance markings on the floor.
-
Removed the chairs in our waiting area. Any chairs that are available have surfaces that are wipeable and easy to disinfect regularly.
-
Installed plexiglass barriers at our reception desk.
-
Added 9 JADE surgical air purifiers throughout the office.
-
Increased cleaning of high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs and the POS machine; these surfaces are sanitized multiples times per day.
-
We use a fogger to mist a decontaminant at the end of the day over surfaces that hard to reach with wipes.
-
Our Staff is equipped with enhanced PPE.
- We have staggered appointment times to minimize congestion in the reception area.
All of these steps are there to ensure all of our patients can visit our office with peace of mind. Your oral care is extremely important to your health and we care about your well-being. If you have any further questions regarding safety in our dental office we welcome you to send us an email or call and we will be happy to answer and address any concerns you may have.
Your safety and oral care is our top priority.
